If I served you some food, and you said, ” This is very good,” I wouldn’t reply,” No, no, it’s not good at all.” Since we are politely equal, I wouldn’t disparage the food just because it was mine. My polite response would be,” I’m glad you like it.”
という文があるのですが、状況がつかめません。どう解釈すればいいですか？
