これは、その自分の信じることのために戦うことの話と思います。その戦うことを、「犯罪とみなしていいよ」。そして、what do you know about that?（お前そんなのわかるか？）もそうですが、誰かに話しかけているような文章になっている。
a place to cast a stoneは、石を投げるような場所ですが、つまり暗いところの話で、必ずしも場所ではないと思います。全体的にWrite it off as criminal, a place to cast a stoneはお前に悪く思われてもどうでもいいやという感じかな。
