A drinker rolled home late on a Friday night and, as he walked in, he found his wife with her hand outstretched.
She said, “OK, hand over your pay-packet!”
With a guilty look on his face, he pulled it out of his pocket, handed it to her and said, “It’s not all there. I spent half of it on something for the house.”
And she said, “Oh, that was nice. What was it?”
And he said, “A round of drinks!”
